The words Holy and Holiness is separation or separation from the unclean to serve and live in God, Leviticus 20:7, Romans 1:7. Thus holiness is also understood as a life of moral perfection 1 Peter 1:15-16 Holiness is a must for the one who accepts Christ as their Savior, it is written: "Without holiness no man shall see the Lord" Hebrews 12:14. True Holiness gives notice to external events but more so with the intentions of the heart. Sanctification begins when the man or woman believe in Jesus Christ as his sole and sufficient Savior, and is regenerated by the Spirit Danto as born again and Spirit seals that person and makes a part for God. 2 Thessalonians 2:13, 1 Peter 1:2, Ephesians 1:13. Sanctification is practical and progressive because the believer must pursue holiness, Hebrews 12:14, 1 Thessalonians 4:3, 2 Corinthians 7:1. He who sanctifies us is the Holy Spirit working in us believers lead to a life of perfection in Christ, 1 Corinthians 6:11, 1 Thessalonians 5:23, 1 Peter 1:2. The spirit will be removing all imperfection of life up to the image of Christ. Therefore the believer must put off the old man and seek the improvement of character, so that in your household, not lawsuits but the most perfect harmony as possible, as the Bible says "Let all bitterness and wrath and anger , clamor and evil speaking, with all malice. " Ephesians 4:22-24, 31-32. The believer must crucify the flesh with its passions and desires to achieve progress in sanctification, Romans 6:1-6, Galatians 5:24. Sanctification and the fruits of the Spirit go together, because the Spirit produces in the believer, this moral excellence or distinctive qualities that make up the Christian character. Galatians 5:22-23. |
