Breaking Down The Walls

Read Joshua 6:1

INTRODUCTION:

The Old Testament does a wonderful job portraying spiritual battles with physical realities.

There are walls that stop us getting the blessings of God.

Blessings are so close and yet seem so far away.

Walls that enememigo has built to keep us in the desert.

Walls crumble need today!

I. The battle of Jericho is not a carnal war is a war between God and Satan.

• • Remember that just as Israel was the hand of God who brought you out of Egypt
  • It was God who divided the waters. The guy that opened the door, who gave you the opportunity to come to Him
  • It was the Holy Spirit of God who guided you on your desert
  • Even in your rebellion you covered with a cloud
  • and gives you light a pillar of fire
  • It was Jehovah Jireh who gave you mana from heaven, and keep your spirit alive
  • It was Jehovah in your most desperate moentos living water has taken even a rock for those rivers of living water will continue running through your being.
  • Spiritual battles are fought in heaven. Not on earth. But power has a prayer that all your intelligence and cunning.

II. And even in the midst of your struggles are glorified

• • It was in the desert that Moses received the revelation to write the first five books of the Bible
  • It was in the desert where Moses received the Law from God's hand
  • It was in the desert where Moses saw God's back
  • It's been on my desert where he has broken your spirit, where you've learned to depend on Him

III. Everybody is looking

• The Devils look
• Like a roaring lion that you are waiting to give him the chance to destroy
• The world is watching the outcome of your actions can save others
• I look in your desert
• I look in your fatigue
• This to the expectation that God will make you
• The angels of heaven looking
• You are an important part of the celestial plan (NUM14 :1-4)

• IV. There comes a day when the walls of Jericho must fall
  • This is the will of your God from the beginning. God wanted to tear down these walls and give Israel the victory from the start.
  • You are the fruit of his victory
  • Many times all that stands impidiento victory is you, just as Israel was the one who stopped the victory for so long

• V. Instructions for victory
  • Recognizes who is against your will want (II CO 10:3-5)
  • Spiritual battles are fought in heaven. (Ephesians 1:17-23, 2:4-9)

  • Satan wants you to think that your fight is against another person or
  • Let your battle is between you and the.
  • Have faith in who is fighting this war
  • Watch the victory and not defeat
