The brutal murder of a Protestant pastor in his own church has led to Oklahoma authorities to alert the whole area to the possibility that the case of a murderer who acts against religious leaders, local media reported.
Anadarko officials, a small town in Oklahoma, defined as "appalling" state in which the Sunday, 30 August found the African American evangelical Reverend Carol Daniels, 61, who was found dead behind the altar of their own church.
The mystery surrounding the death of Daniels, as occurred in mid-morning, while preparing the Sunday sermon. Daniels pastoring a church in a marginal and socially disadvantaged area of Anadarko.
Pending state police study recorded material surveillance cameras in the church, has known that Daniels died of "multiple sharp objects deep wounds, with cuts at the height of the throat, chest, hands and back.
Police investigating this horrific incident found hanging in crucified position, his hair burned and naked as the official medical report.
The murderer also sprayed his whole body to probably try to eliminate any trace of his DNA that could identify you.
Given the seriousness of the case, police in Oklahoma has sought assistance from FBI experts to investigate the murder.
Fear of Serial Murder
The District Attorney Bret Burns held a closed-door meeting thirty pastors of the town to warn them that they must "take precautions in their respective churches," according to The Oklahoman. "The events on Sunday required to inform the leaders of local churches to understand the situation and remain vigilant," Burns said of the meeting, which was also attended by the sheriff of the town and several members of the state police.
Everything that has happened has increased alarm among many of the pastors of the area to the point of refusing to make statements or appear before the press.
