-Brutal attack Christians with machetes in Chiapas, with one dead and twelve seriously injured

A group of evangelical Christians from the Presbyterian Church in Chiapas were attacked on 6 February in the town of Tumbala, Chiapas, allegedly by supporters of the EZLN. In the attack, with machetes, sticks and stones, a man was killed and more than 20 people were injured. Horeb Church has condemned the attacks. Up to 40 people were affected with various injuries of varying severity for this attack. The group included several children and some women. The only fatality was Adolfo Moreno, while seven others were kidnapped, and twelve people were hospitalized with the severity of the wounds.
