INTRODUCTION Racism Racism is an attitude born in the heart following a demonic oppression. The person that is suffering under this oppression is not aware of their racism because of the nature of this type of devil who blinds his victim in a devilish passion. This kind of feeling has its training at the time the person begins to feel or believe is superior to another human being. Thus, to affirm their belief, is the need to belittle another person. The evil spirit of racism reacts much like the unclean spirit of religion when it is attacked. His response to attack is the cause anger in the person instilling the fear that its base defense will be removed. For example, a person suffering such oppression can be felt when reading these lines is a strong hatred or ill will towards me even without understanding or reason why. The strongest manifestation is when the person is confronted with the truth of the Word. Since Truth is precisely who destroys and frees the oppressed person.
John 8:31-32 31 Then said Jesus to those Jews who believed Him, "If you abide in My word, you are truly my disciples, 32 and know the truth and the truth shall make you free. Note that when Jesus was declaring that the truth make them free, I was telling people that believed in it. At the possessed, Jesus spoke to them not giving explanations but rebuked them directly. But a person who already believe in Jesus is not possessed but is it possible that this still in bondage in their lives, these bonds may not be removed but teaching rebuking. To deny or belittle the ministry of women is a clear manifestation of racism. In this study, we will see in a simple way as God call women to serve as his son and gave the place the man refused. I. DEBORA as God's prophet The government in Bible times of judges is a perfect example of a theocratic government. The word is composed of Matt Theocratic that in Greek means God and that means government critic. For example, the word democratic means demo it is critical that people and government, or government by the will of the people. But Theocratic means a government by the will of God.
In a theocracy, it is God who puts the leader of his people, this is not for voting systems, nor for throwing lucky man to see who comes out. But the way the people see that God has chosen their leader is because is clearly the hand of God behind you. In other words, the gifts of God flow in your life and if we can not exactly explain why, most recognize his ministry as an apostle of God. This recognition does not come by fiat or because it should be so because someone named as a leader, but who appointed him is because clearly recognized God's call on his life. In a theocracy, people obey the leader willingly, not because the leader has with that force ( unlike a king or a president) but because people feel they must follow the guidance of this person as one who had God's Word.
Judges 4:4 4 ruled Israel at that time to a woman, Deborah, a prophetess, the wife of Lapidot;
Deborah was chosen directly by the hand of God to serve as judge of his people as his own voice (prophet) before them. Noten, who was married to Deborah who ruled, but Deborah. I'm sure in her home was an excellent wife. But that does not detract from the ministry that God has given to women. Some people use a Bible verse for something that Paul said to say that women can not speak in church.
I Timothy 2:11-12 11 The woman learn in silence with all subjection. 12 But I suffer not a woman to teach or exercise authority over a man, but to remain quiet. Many people tend to seek what they can find an excuse for containment. I prefer to look at things in a simpler form. For example, I know one of the attributes of God is that He is immutable, meaning that The remains unchanged. He is the same yesterday, today and forever (Hebrews 13:8). For if in a lucid manner, God placed a woman as a judge of his nation and his prophet. With humility and understanding that is the only wisdom comes from our Father, may I say that Paul, Peter, John, David, Samuel, Solomon, and all men of God before and now say it is not so, and I went on to say what God said. Because Paul himself says: Galatians 1:8 8 But even if we or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel than that which we preached to you, let him be accursed. Now there is a clear explanation as to why Paul said these words. Paul himself recognized the ministry of women, and was against racism. Galatians 3:28 28 Because there is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. When we interpret the Bible (Biblical Hermeneutics), we must do so within a historical context and grammar. When Paul telling Timothy these words, the matter that he was trying, and we can see if you read the rest of the biblical passage was that women I could not use the pulpit of the church to seduce men. Thus we see the explanations of the costumes, hair, etc.. Also, he was teaching about leadership that God has given to men. The same Deborah recognizes this leadership. Judges 4:6 6 And she sent and called Barak the son of Abinoam from Cedes of Naphtali, and said: Has not the Lord God of Israel commanded, saying, Go, gather your men at Mount Tabor, and take with thee ten thousand men of the tribe of Naphtali and the tribe of Zebulun; The ministry of women is not a competition with the ministry of man. God has given everyone how much he has. So we see here how God had appointed Deborah as judge of his people and Barak as the leader of the military. If a man takes leadership, women should not feel less or man to feel the same if a woman whom God has placed as shepherd of his people. Often conflicts arise when one does not work that God has delegate. Because then God Himself takes another to enforce its purposes and then before the eyes of the people there is confusion. Judges 4:8-9 8 Barak said unto her, If thou wilt with me, I'll go, but if it were me, I will not. 9 She said to go with you, but yours is not the glory of the day to take, because woman's hand the LORD shall sell Sisera . And Deborah arose, and went with Barak to Kadesh. We must understand that no one owns the Lord's work. The women's ministry does not stem from lack of men, but that God has chosen men to be His servant. But conflicts come when a man was supposed to make a God-given task and then we like to not take the step of faith, God takes away their work and gives it to another person who is often a woman. Then the man gets angry and Esau was angry when he removed the birthright. Esau Jacob about their anger, but actually the culprit was. So many times we see the man act in church, he begins to criticize the ministry of women rather than examined for the woman but not this removing that this scattering.
II. HUSBAND of one wife
I Timothy 3:1-2 1 The word faithful: "If anyone desires bishopric, desires a good work. 2 But it is necessary that the bishop must be blameless, the husband of one wife, temperate, prudent, respectable, hospitable, able to teach;
For me, the study of Scripture is really a great joy. And many of our students, many pastors and ministers, it looks the same. For us it is boring or complicated. But a way of better understand the feelings of the being we love, our Creator.
In this part, we will cover another very controversial verse, but as will see the end of this section, you feel a tremendous joy to see the Scriptures open before your eyes.
The word bishop refers directly to the pastorate. Here our brother Paul seems to indicate that to be a pastor must be a man. This I think by the fact that says a bishop must be the husband of one wife.
I like a lot to let the Bible interpret itself. I try by all means do not use external references. So lets look at a passage in comparison. The diaconal ministry is a ministry of the pastor's aid ministry, we say this because many times we believe that ignorance is diaconal ministry as if they were senators and the minister president and so there was a competition between these ministries. The reason that we sometimes think well and left to fulfill what God has placed in our hands is just not understanding what is the Theocracy. We believe that the church is as if the world where the deacons must be controlling the pastor, this is not the will of god. When it came to choosing the deacons, the Bible states: Acts 6:3 3 Search, brethren, from among you seven men of good reputation, full of the Holy Spirit and of wisdom, who undertake the work.
According to this verse, we conclude that only men can be deacons. And especially if we read the next: 1 Timothy 3:12 12 The deacons be the husbands of one wife, ruling their children and their homes. Indeed, this last verse is very similar to the requirements of the bishop (pastor). But thank God that we find another verse that reads: Romans 16:1 1 Os also recommend our sister Phoebe, who is deacon of the church in Cenchrea; If this verse was not in the Bible, I'm sure it would deny many women the opportunity to be a deacon. Now, if the woman could be a deaconess, for the Bible says that the deacon is the husband of one wife? Again, we return to the correct interpretation, the historical-grammatical method. In the time that these words were written, was very common that the man had more than one woman, and even more, this was accepted by society. Without But the woman did not have to make this clarification, since it could only have a husband. I think at this point we have understood what the bishopric. Not that the woman could not be a pastor, was that the pastor could not have more than one woman. Hallelujah!
III. THE TREATMENT OF JESUS TO WOMEN It was Jewish custom in Jesus' time that women could not sit in the front in synagogues during the teaching time. Never under any circumstances a woman could have this place of honor, much less sit at the feet of the master. To Mary, the sister of Lazarus, he liked to sit at the feet of Jesus to hear him teach. When Martha try to stop him, Jesus came to his defense and said that nobody would take that place. Luke 10:40-42 40 But Martha was distracted with much serving, and approaching, said, Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Tell her to help me. 41 Lord answered her, "Martha, Martha, and troubled about many things. 42 But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be removed. Sadness that gives the view like so many gifts given to my sisters in Christ and these have to keep them hidden because they are not allowed to minister. I wonder how Jesus would answer to those people that serve as stumbling block in the spiritual growth of their children? I believe that what enabled us to receive Christ into our lives was a recognition that we were wrong and needed to repent. Without accepting our mistakes, our sins, Christ never could have accomplished the redemptive work in us. As you can save the that is not lost? The ministry of women has always been appreciated by Jesus. Even he allowed them to work to help financially with his ministry. Luke 8:1-3 1 Now after that Jesus went through all the towns and villages, preaching and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom of God and the twelve were with him, 2 and some women who had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities: Mary, called Magdalena, which had come seven demons, 3 Joanna the wife of Herod's steward Chuza, and Susanna, and many others who served their property.
The Bible tells us that when Jesus was to be taken to ascend to heaven, he told his disciples to stay in Jerusalem until it has been received power of the Holy Spirit to be perfectly witnesses, that is, preachers of the Good News. Among the who were there was Mary the mother of Jesus and the other women, wanting so to speak, that they too were vested with this power. Acts 1:8 8 But you shall receive power when you come upon the Holy Spirit, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, throughout Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. Acts 1:13-14 13 And entered, climbed to the upper room, where abode Peter and James, John, Andrew, Philip, Thomas, Bartholomew, Matthew, James son of Alpheus, Simon the Zealot and Judas the brother of James. 14 These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication with women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brothers. CONCLUSION Being a leader and be chief is not the same. A leader works for others to be blessed, a boss forces other work for their own benefit. Accept the leadership that God has established for our own sake, for our spiritual growth. And let no positions within the church make us lose sight of the purpose of our life in the Lord. Everyone has a job to do, my duty before God is being faithful with what he wants me to do at the moment and help my brother and sister to be faithful to God in what He has called you.
