A bold faith is rewarded

recompensa This morning I shared a word with the brothers of the service and I would do it with you. I would like you to look in their Bibles in the Book of Mark, Chapter 5, there is a story I want to share with you. It's a story every time I read it, that whenever I meet it touches me deep inside my heart, I always find something different in it in between their lines. And then today, the Lord set a restlessness in my heart and share this with you and also you can take that blessing them in their lives too.

And just wanted to read some verses in context so that it can, that we understand where we are going. I know it's a story that many of you know, but I want to make some things in it for the edification of our lives today.

Book of Mark, Chapter 5, beginning in verse 21, reads: "... Turning again Jesus in a boat to the other side gathered around him a great crowd. And he was by the sea. Then one of the main synagogue, Jairus and then he saw him he fell at his feet and begged him much, saying, 'My daughter is dying, come and lay hands on them to be saved and live. " It was because Jesus was with him and all this great crowd and squeezed it. But a woman who suffered twelve years of blood flow and suffering from many doctors and spent everything he had and was nothing bettered. Rather grew worse ... "

Let me leave it there. This is a story my brothers, I think it has much relevance for today. And I know that perhaps many of the women who are here can identify with that story, but I think that men also have much to learn from it. And the first thing I identify achievement is that Mark talks about some woman. A woman who does not know his name, is a woman who does not know his identity, we know of his background, his family, we know nothing of this woman, all I know is that it has a problem. Many of us can at least we can identify with that. Who here has no problems? Let me see your hands. Ok, we are in the same boat then.

This woman, his only problem was, so to speak, was a unique problem. The Bible, the story describes him as a blood flow, many ways this can be interpreted that perhaps he had a hemorrhage or had a problem with your menstrual cycle. But the point is that for twelve years this woman was suffering from that, I was suffering from this. Now I wonder, we now if I'm thinking what happens when a person has a problem in this way with their blood. What's wrong? It weakens the one hand, the hemoglobin was low and therefore is mamonea, a word or Puerto Rican, I struggled out there, you take away the forces, energies.

Now, if a woman gets moody when in those days, I know that women can identify very well with this, and their moods can vary in different ways, I wonder, how the moods vary when it has been a problem 12 years, how difficult would that person's moods. So not only was feeling so weak, so not only had little energy, can be above that he was totally depressed and depressed also why. as saying the story had spent all she had on doctors and I like how he says, suffered by doctors, or doctors instead of bringing relief had brought more suffering and that there are times when one sees today, that you go to the doctor for pain-relieving and there are times when you come out with more pain doctor's clinic. We must pray for the doctors today and if I have some here, believe me we're praying for you.

So not only was so weak, so not only could be that she was depressed and had not yet found that healing I needed, but also by the standards and patterns of that society in which she lived, a woman who had that condition is considered unclean and considered unclean had to cut themselves off completely. I could not contact anyone, she had to live apart from people. If she went out she had to leave at a time when not find with people and where she had to do the things I had to do alone.

So I begin to think about it, my brothers, and I want, I invite you to use your imagination with me in this story. I want you to move back centuries and you imagine you're in the room of this woman. Get in the room of this woman. Perhaps this woman is lying on his bed, maybe he's tired of life and has no hope, is so tired, so anxious that no longer knows what will happen to her. But suddenly, in that room she begins to hear a noise from her room she begins to hear a noise that was totally different and so between each word could hear, here comes, here she comes, here she comes.

And that there is, there comes, like that caused something to it. Who's coming? And if we say we are well-Pentecostal, Christ, but obviously that's not the idea. As she kept hearing the buzz began to start saying, Jesus, come. Jesus is going through the neighborhood. Here comes Jesus. We will see Jesus.

And this woman, I imagine, suddenly began to think, and maybe there lying on her bed, she began to remember perhaps counts that person called Jesus, how Jesus had healed many; of how Jesus had put his hand on the blind and ended up watching, how Jesus had put his hand on those who were lame and out jumping, because they could not walk and leaping out of how Jesus had freed a gadanero who was possessed full legions and finished clean and left to serve and communicate and advertise the greatness of the Lord as well.

So there's that woman in bed, I imagine that this woman suddenly starts thinking doctors have tried, none could cure me, I've spent all I have, all my money, and I'm still with this flow, can This Jesus do something for me? Could this Jesus in which people are going to run after him, can he really do something for me now?

And I imagine that within this woman began an internal battle. Maybe there lying like that rose and sat on the edge of her bed and rocked like that in bed and as I thought, I'm going or not, I move or do not move. And their concern may be raised and looked out the window and begin to see the bustle of people coming, coming, coming, and perhaps that buzz as he increased his force until it suddenly began to see the figure of Jesus and the distance to walk. And maybe she thought, maybe this is my chance, maybe this is where I'll be able to find what I'm looking for.

And I guess she donned, put on his clothes quickly, he tried to cover up because I knew if they would leave the people he was going to criticize, because it is supposed not to leave, that was not in a crowd. But I guess she comes out and then stands at the door of his house, thence to the entrance, there is the hectic, moving from side to side, and who knows, maybe because Jesus had passed and was looking Jesus there in the distance and perhaps at that moment as if that was my opportunity, here goes, I will enter again. She could have said that, but no. What the passage says?

She stepped into the middle of the crowd and reached out to Jesus. You know what? I want to do something to wake them. Can I get permission? I have long, long time. I want volunteers to come up here with me a moment, please, quick, quick, do not waste time. Come, come, come. Come, come, come.

Jesus was missed, someone touched me. Oh my God ... women now understand even more. Look, this she might have cost this woman her life. But she was so and so and so sure. I imagine that this woman when it reached to touch Jesus, she felt what happened, is gone, but in that way she knows what was going on inside stopped, stopped. And then Jesus did not feel tickled out of him, Jesus felt a breeze that blew, Jesus felt something out of it. And that is all for. And is this question: Who touched me?

Then comes the dilemma, the disciples as Jesus, but what are you talking about, man? Everyone is oppressing you, everyone wants to take a cantito you as if you were an apple pie. Everyone wants a cantito yours and you come to say that someone touched you. But look, here is where I see this dynamic so beautiful to Jesus because Jesus, I imagine he was having a heart to heart communication with this woman, you could not see where she was, but he knew she was there, he knew that this woman was perhaps hidden there, in fear, but at the same time I was happy about what had happened to her.

And I imagine that Jesus was saying in his heart, come, come, wherever you are, do not play to hide. How many of us the Lord tells us, do not play to hide me. Over here you see, I know where you are. Until this woman, I imagine, that in her heart she felt that cry from the heart of Jesus, she felt the call of Jesus saying, come on, where are you, until suddenly the crowd broke in two as if it were the Red Sea, and this woman comes out and I imagine her coming, as the passage, fearing and trembling and perhaps nerve had a laugh, but came to Jesus and knelt before him and said to Jesus, I was I was the one who touched you.

And look what Jesus says, if we see the text Jesus says, "... daughter, daughter .." Mark identified it as an ordinary woman with no name and Jesus told her daughter. "... your faith has healed, your faith has healed you ... "

You know what, my brothers? I can tell you here today in our midst there are people who think like one more in a crowd. Now here's someone who can think or believe that nobody knows who you are, maybe you are here today, there you are sitting or sitting, you're listening but inside you're like what difference does this, who really cares about what I live, so I have. Who cares?

Perhaps the problem for which you're going through, you've spent what you have to try to solve, maybe you've spent money, whether it is a physical condition that you are hurting, troubled. Maybe you've spent physical energy, emotional energy, mental energy trying to find a solution to this problem which you are dealing with and you fill in the blank, can be a problem with your son, your daughter, your husband, your wife, grumpy boss at work, can be a problem with yourself, with your own attitude, your ambivalence that want to do one thing today, gone tomorrow, now you talk to your people well, but they're morning lowering the saints in heaven, and those are the things with which you fight. And you might have been struggling for months as you might have been struggling for years with that situation. You might like this woman and you're lying in bed, beaten, defeated, no energy, weak, depressed and nothing happens, you have given to the flow and see what happens to you. Maybe you're like that woman might say, I stand by the bed or I will not stop, can anything really happen with me or not. Maybe you're like that woman might asomándote out the window and seeing the crowd, maybe you're listening to what others are saying about Jesus but you still have not experienced.

You follow? Maybe you're in the process put all your stuff and your taparte as you can so that no one will say, ah, got to see this Christian now, and you're like that here, at the push and pull, get out or I do not go, I go into the crowd or I stay here, look what we both need at least this person we are talking about, or I'm stuck here in my room suffering, bleeding to death. I stayed here all my blood spilling. Who knows if your own faith is bleeding and you do not recognize what you wanted.

The story does not stop there. There is another character in the story, that character's name is Jairo. You know who was Jairus? Who was he? He who said her daughter was dying, but who was he? The main synagogue. They know what a leader of the synagogue. I'm going to give us good terms now. This morning I interviewed a school principal and an assistant principal from another school. In other words, I interviewed the brother and brother Miguel Prieto David Diaz, I interviewed two of them. And I asked a question, you how school principal what you have to do. And the first thing they tell me, obviously to ensure the care and education of the children who come there. Second, what was it? One has to be evaluating teachers, ensuring that they are providing a good education. Third on the list, deal with parents, with all the issues they may have with the children, strive for security, address the administration of that institution, which can all run according to state law, and countless other I know things that I mentioned but whatever the make.

You know what made the ruler of the synagogue? The main synagogue was the one who was involved in studying all that teachers would teach rabbis. This man forgot that he was principal, he forgot his status, he forgot that he was bordering diplomas on his wall, he forgot the efot perhaps the man was using, and the only thing he had in mind were two things: one, that was a necessity because her daughter was dying, and second, because the only answer he had his problem was with Jesus.

Who knows if he tasted like the woman with many doctors, took his daughter to many doctors, healers at the time? Hey, look, my daughter is dying, see if you can do something with it. But none, none, none, none could do anything with it. That is very interesting because this passage from Luke, the story in Luke that she had suffered from his blood flow for how many years? For 12 years. If you see the same story in the passage from Luke, how old was the child? 12. The father introduces his daughter, gives an identity, identity Jairo gave his daughter, but the woman is presented as if it were more in the crowd, but what was what Jesus did when she approached him to he? He gave her identity. I said, you're my daughter.

Hey, my brothers, I want, I wonder when I look the way this story makes sense to me in today, one of the first things I ask is, Where are we? Where are you? Do you like your women may lying in bed, you've already surrendered and have given your life to the mercy of what will happen? Perhaps you're peeking through the window to see where the noise comes and listening to what they are saying, but you have not experienced yet? Perhaps you're getting dressed and preparing to go out and shoot it to see if it works? Or are you stuck in the same open space amid the bustle to get to where you have to get?

Maybe you're like a Jairo has decided to shed all title and position he had to come and stand at the feet of Jesus and to find in him the response he had long coveted. I wonder what the noise that gets in between us and Jesus. What will be the buzz is in your life, what the crowd is standing between you and the person of Jesus, the answer is in Jesus that you can get.

As I mentioned a minute ago, it might be something, a way of thinking of you, you do not want to give in to that and you're so stubborn with that mindset that no one of you out there. Maybe the crisis in which the entire nation is experiencing right now has put so many with the creeps who do not know what will happen or what will happen. These people in the biblical account had placed their hope in what they had in front, put their hope a doctor first, put your hope in material resources they had, but nothing worked. Today in the system in which we live there are people who put their hope on Wall Street, there are people who put their hope in Main Street, and all these institutions, what is happening with them? Are falling apart completely. It is a crisis that is affecting the nation in so many ways and then where we are looking for hope? We are now looking for hope in two people say, we are, are, because we know where our hope. But people gravitate all that, the questions asked: how you intend to solve the problem of the economy? And you know what? It may sound well articulated what they say, but I guess God's ears sounds like blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.

And the next and ask what do you think the war? And it may sound good, articulate what they say, but to God's ears sounds like blah, blah, blah, blah. Or maybe God says, oh, very good speech, but you know what? I am who has the last word.

And my brothers, you know what? This I say as an aside here, because I think it is very important for us to understand this. This story you know what? In this character of the woman I see the character of the church represented there, because the church in some way or another by all the circumstances that are occurring around the world who have oppressed and they have pressured in some way or another to the church The church may feel that he has been suffering from bleeding too. But I understand that the church as did the woman in history is the resource that God wants and will use so that there is a manifestation of his power in these times, so that the tumult that there amid the din of the crowd, people, stand for a moment and listen to hear those words that say, someone has touched me. That someone is the church.

We are living in critical times where it is necessary that the principles of this story see today. Church needs to rise from her bed bleeding, it is necessary that the church looked out the window and you can see what is happening out there, but that's not enough. It is necessary that the church attire, dress, and break out there and get into the crowd to get to the point that power is unleashed that power of God.

Do you know who gets to do that? To all of you. The message is this: how you getting up to where it is to do everything possible to break all standards of this society and get into the hype, even if you criticize, but you pushed, kicked while they give you, even if you do stumble and fall, but that you can do everything possible to come and play to achieve all that it means Jesus, be the hem of his garment, can be your slipper may be the leg hairs, may be all that you want. And the idea is that you move with a bold faith my brothers. I believe that God is for us to have a truly bold faith to see her strength, her majesty moving, acting in ways that neither you nor I had seen before.

And you know what? That is very interesting because I say intentionally bold faith, because when I was little, I do not know about you, but for me to be bold was bad. My mom told me, looking boy, do not be daring. And that was bad and there came the knocks on the head by head. But I understand what this woman had was the guts and courage to have a bold faith that went against everything that prevented it getting into people and can get to touch Jesus.

Wow, I think it's as if the Lord himself told us, where are we? Where are we? I imagine that this woman's room on the fourth of Jairus, when they learned that Jesus, I imagine that these two people in one form or another had this war, intimate battle, am I going or not going? Dare or dare not.

Jairo perhaps because one side was saying, but I, ruler of the synagogue, knowing that Jesus has had so many fights with the rabbis in the synagogue, knowing that all these rabbis will be fine outstanding to me to see what I do, what I do, I can not go. But I can not.

I imagine that another woman was also thinking, if I'm going to say something, if I'm going to give hint of elbow. But I understand my brothers, there is a God who works behind the racks even though we can not see it and God works through His grace working in us. is the grace of God that moves us to do things we never thought we could do.

You know what? In recent days, my sister Caroline, as she gave me some messages that she usually receives the email from a prophetic ministry, and there are times I read them, but long ago I did not read what she was wrong, and last week I gave in, she was on the desk, I grabbed and told to relax, let's see what's the word ... well, not to relax, take him seriously. But I took it and opened it and I said, let's see what the word of God for today. and suddenly I'm reading and I came across this sentence that said, God has put in a rare moment of grace. You know what? The grace of God works every day, the grace of God works in us every day, but when he says that there is an unusual grace, an unusual grace, a grace uncommon in other words, is a different grace, a grace that has a different purpose, is a gift you are looking for something to happen that you had not happened before, is a grace that is looking for whatever is stuck in your life, is released, is a grace that you are looking for that is bleeding you, will stop once and for all, is a grace that is seeking money if you are going through a hole in the pocket, that grace is that this pocket is looking thing that you can complete and minister While he should be, is an unusual grace you are looking for if your marriage is bleeding here and there, north, south, east and west, then it stops completely.

Will we let that grace unusual move? Or are we going to flow with it? Are we going to let the crowd prevents that I may come? Or I will strive to be able to reach such a challenge in life and able to everything around me can be transformed, so that everyone in my life can be transformed and through my life that everything around me is transformed as well?

Hey, brothers, this is serious. This is serious. This woman risked everything to come to Jesus. Jairus risked his position to come to Jesus. And you know what happened? They acquired their reward, they acquired their response. Jesus had that answer for them. I want to address this word to you to close.

I want you to look at the center of his life now and you assess where you are, where you are. Are you listening to the rumors but you're not doing anything? Are you peeking through the window but nothing yet? Thinking about your status to tie me look good and nobody will think bad of me?

A bold faith is going to receive his reward. God is looking for a church to be bold, now more than ever. He knew he was going to Jairo present. He knew this woman was going to bring him from behind and touch the hem of his robe, he is moving in the middle of your life.

There are times when God does move after racks, but there are times when God moves very clearly before you. How we will respond to this action of God? I invite you, my brother, my sister, who stand for a moment, let's pray.

You know, I do not know your identity, I know who you are, I do not know what you live day after day, night after night, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, I do not know, but someone who knows. And that someone is so and so willing to work in you, to bless your life, he's dying for it, he's dying to bless your life and there are times he comes to you but other times he wants you you away from him. Where are you?

Maybe in your bed where you can be, your not even have considered the follow Jesus and I can say this afternoon that if you want to see something work in you and Jesus is not in the landscape of your life, this is the day where he can go, where you can allow him to enter into that picture and things change completely. On a day like today, Lord Jesus, is walking and there are a multitude, a multitude of problems that you believe will not allow that you can experience the healing touch him, but he knows, he knows that if you give that step and strive, he'll take care of the rest, he'll take care of the rest.

Let me finish telling you this, when Jesus was talking to this woman after being healthy, someone approached him and said to Jairus, Jairus, trouble not the Master again, your daughter is dead. I imagine that Jairus at that time was like the noise he was making everyone was turned off and his whole world fell. I imagine that Jairus said, and, so far was, is over. But Jesus was there and heard what was said to Jairus, and quickly became where Jairus and said, Jairus, Fear not, only believe.

Maybe there are some here who feel their life is bleeding and identify yourself as the woman very well, but you may have others here that you can identify with Jerry and you might be told that bad news and you're saying, and here is over. But Jesus says to you, fear not, create, create.

If you want this afternoon, if you want to have a moment where you can bring you to Jesus and make this gesture of stretch and strive to reach and touch the hem of the robe of Jesus in your life to acquire health and salvation only he can give, I want you right where you are raise your hand and I will pray for you.

Lord Jesus, in a way, in a gesture of faith, Lord we raise our hand, touch reached for you, Lord. Padre, suelta ese espíritu de poder, ese espíritu de fe, tu estás llamando a una iglesia, Señor, que se atreva a moverse entre medio de la multitud para que pueda entonces verse esa manifestación tuya en todo los sectores de esta sociedad en la cual vivimos. Y Señor, como iglesia oramos por esta nación, como cuerpo nos extendemos hacia ti pidiendo un milagro en esta nación, Señor, hay líderes políticos que se están peleando y se están quemando las pestañas tratando de buscar una solución a la crisis en este país pero nosotros como iglesia sabemos y declaramos que la solución se encuentra en ti, Señor.

Hay gente que gravita su esperanza hacia candidatos a la presidencia pero nosotros gravitamos nuestra esperanza hacia ti, Señor. Y no obviamos nuestra responsabilidad como ciudadanos del Reino tuyo, de orar e interceder por los líderes gubernamentales políticos de esta nación, lo más que podemos pedirte Señor, como tu cuerpo es que tu tengas misericordia, Señor y que tu en tu gracia sea quien sea la persona que termine al final, así como tu hiciste con el rey Siro, que no era una persona que tal vez te reconocía en su totalidad, pero tu como quiera lo declaraste que era tu siervo, y tu lo usaste en la misma forma, Señor. Sea quien sea la próxima persona que termine en el poder, que tu demuestres tu gracia, que tu demuestres tu misericordia, Señor, que tu demuestres tu sabiduría y tu poder obrando en esa persona ya través de esa persona.

Decimos esto, Señor, porque nuestra mente es bien finita, pero tu eres soberano, tu ves más allá y pedimos Señor, que tu en tu infinita misericordia operes como tu sabes que mejor pueden ser las cosas. Padre, y aún si la situación se pusiera peor, que nosotros como iglesia no dejemos de movernos a través de la muchedumbre para alcanzar tocar tu manto, Señor, y ver una manifestación de tu poder, que no nos dejemos vencer por las situaciones tirados en una cama, aislados de todos los demás, sino que podamos ataviarnos con tu armadura, Señor, que podamos vestirnos con la fuerza que tu nos das, con la autoridad que tu nos das para poder vivir en una forma que podamos ver ese toque tuyo en medio de nuestras vidas.

Señor, así como esa mujer estaba en la multitud entiendo que hay alguien aquí que se siente como uno más, te sientes que no sabes ni por qué razón estás aquí pero el Señor ahora mismo está teniendo una conversación contigo corazón a corazón.

El Señor te está diciendo que esta es tu oportunidad para experimentar esa gracia inusual y ubicarte en el lugar donde recibirás la bendición que tanto buscas y que tanto esperas. Solo a través de mí, te dice el Señor, escucha bien, solo a través de mi, podrás salir a flote, no es por tus propias fuerzas, no es por tus propios recursos, es por mí. Si Dios te ha hablado hoy y yo sé que así ha sido, por favor recibe esa palabra y en la mejor forma que tu entiendas obedece al llamado de Dios en tu vida.

Padre, yo declaro tu bendición sobre tus hijos e hijas. Señor Jesús que podamos seguir viviendo en una forma donde nuestra fe nos mueva a alcanzarte a ti, Señor, que no nos dejemos llevar por las circunstancias que nos rodean, no nos dejemos intimidar por nada sino que podamos movernos, Señor, como una fe segura, convencida de que tu eres nuestra esperanza, que en ti están nuestras esperanzas, Señor.

Bendice a tus hijos e hijas, Señor, bendice a sus familias, yo declaro tu bendición sobre cada uno de sus familias, sobre sus trabajos, sus estudios, aquellos que están en la escuela, en la universidad, a los solteros, los bendigo, Señor en esta iglesia, declaro tu fuerza en medio de ellos, dominio propio, mi Dios, la certidumbre de que tu los amas y que tu tienes lo mejor para ellos. A la juventud de esta iglesia yo la bendigo, Jesús, a la niñez de esta iglesia, Señor, la bendigo también, a todos los líderes, Señor, los pastores, los líderes de esta iglesia, declaro tu bendición sobre ellos y que todos como tu cuerpo podamos seguir moviéndonos, Señor, hasta alcanzarte a ti, ese llamado al cual tu nos das a cada uno de nosotros poder alcanzar esa meta final. Tu que eres el autor y el consumador de nuestra fe, gracias Señor Jesús. Amen y amen. Gracias Dios, gracias Dios.
