 The theme of faith always has confronted and challenged me to look more to my life. Every move by faith and we must show that we are not satisfied, we want to get more because we walk by faith and move to please the Lord.
Obey
Matthew 8:23-27 tells: And he went into the boat, his disciples followed him. And behold, the sea rose in a storm so large that the waves covered the boat, but he was asleep. The disciples went and woke him up, saying: Lord, save us! He told them: "Why fear, ye of little faith? Then He arose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm. And the men marveled, saying, What man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him?
The disciples did not fear the sea, were used to navigate because many were fishermen and lived near a lake. However, the storm raged and were terrified, then wake up to the teacher who scolds them, contrary to what they thought because they felt confident to go along to the Son of God, but were not able to activate their faith and calm the storm themselves . It's like people who after giving his life to the Lord feel that everything begins to complicate rather than improve and not explained the reason, because they think they are doing all that He commands but surely something is missing.
Before I did not understand why they said "men of little faith," but then think about it, I discovered that this mistrust is concerned that they had and forced them to wake him, when his faith should lead them to act in His name. They showed the problem was more to their faith and their confidence was not sufficient, able to withstand the situation.
One of our great aims must be to grow in faith. Make it increasingly robust, strong, big and powerful to activate in times of adversity. Then, to the difficulty, the Lord would continue to rest because you know what to do and then you say calm the storm: "It was awful but in Your name I could control the situation, I used the authority given me confidence and feel a my side, I found the solution. " You do believe that He will support you because you have been given the power to do so.
All, believers or not, we face difficulties and crisis. We are all vulnerable to sickness, unemployment and tribulation but have faith in the Lord and prove it makes a difference.
Men of faith
Even men who serve the Lord difficulties because we live for Him away no problems. If you saw me out of work, sick and in debt probably hesitate, but I would be confident because I worked on my faith in order to strengthen and sustain me day test. The Bible has many promises for our lives but we must prove ourselves worthy to receive them, making our faith into action. Not only tithing, prayer and fasting are necessary to achieve what God has for us, faith reflected in a just and righteous life is the only one that works and makes us worthy of the promises. It is not weather the storm but calm, linking our lives to the Word of Faith link.
We all have faith in something or someone, even those who belong to another religion, but we believe in one true God and we must prove with clear results in your life and that of those around you. Create, devote yourself to cultivate faith, read the Word, pray and seek His presence, then, face a difficulty will be glorious. It will not be a disciple fearful that wakes you to fix things but a child will be presented as that is, convinced that his power will work through you.
Luke 9:1-10 tells about what happened to the disciples: Having met his twelve disciples and gave them power and authority over all demons and to cure diseases. And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God and heal the sick. And he said: Take nothing for your journey, neither staff, nor scrip, nor bread, nor money, nor bring forth two coats. And in any house you enter, stay there, and then depart. And wherever not receive you, leave that city, shake off the dust from your feet for a testimony against them. Went out and went through all the villages, preaching and healing everywhere. Herod the Tetrarch heard of all the things Jesus did, and was perplexed, because some said that John had risen from the dead, others that Elijah had appeared, and others that one of the old prophets has risen. And Herod said, John I had him beheaded, "Who then is this of whom I hear such things? And tried to see him. The apostles returned, they told him all they had done. And he took them, pulled apart into a desert place of the city called Bethsaida.
Jesus sent them to preach and exercise their faith by helping those in need. Cast out demons and healed the sick, without further provision that faith in Him the way back, probably very excited, they told their results in the faith, as a result of the manifestation of Kingdom. They were already able to speak and demonstrate that they were believers in the Lord but then were unable to put it in execution.
Luke 9: 11-13 continues the story: And when people found out, he continued, and he received them, and spoke of the kingdom of God, and healed those who needed healing. But the day began to decline and approaching the twelve, he said: Send the people, to go to villages and fields around, and staying and find food, because here we are in a desert place. He told them, give them something to eat. And they said, We have only five loaves and two fish, unless we go buy food for all this crowd.
In its reasoning, the disciples told him what to do the Master, but He commanded them to take charge of the case because they were able to. A feature of the true believer is to differentiate where it is the reason and where the faith. When He commands do something extraordinary, key is to put aside your thinking and obey humans exercising faith. When faith obeys the reason is held. The reason the disciples said: "everyone should go home," the faith of Jesus said "all will eat." The reason for the disciples was: "we will die in the storm," the faith of Jesus was: "save us all." Demonstrate your faith is like the Lord.
The works of faith
Jesus wanted people to stay because I wanted to show that the Word is true when he says: "Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all other things shall be added". The people who followed him to the desert and heard His endured hunger lessons showed that seeking the Kingdom, therefore, He wanted to give them the boot. The same will happen in your life.
One time during a service, a person approached me and said he did not believe that his sentence was sufficient to achieve blessing then pray to God in faith for this person. While back and told me very happy pastor can not do anything more, because God answered very abundant in mind what he asked, the Lord multiplied the faith. Faith must be effective for others and yourself.
Activate it to give advice to those in need but also shows that you have when looking for health and provision. The disciples released and healed others but were not able to activate the faith when it was necessary for them and the crowd. Believe in your own words, feed your faith to reach everyone.
Difficult scenarios are opportunities to flourish conviction that God will work. Happy times also demand our faith to give thanks and acknowledge that everything we have received from His hands. (As the testimony of the man, who spent months without work. He walked a great distance from home to the city to provide plumbing services. He saved the passage of pesero (truck) and the little money he left his wife to give some food for their children. The day when even took the money and returned home penniless. His family was anxiously waiting and when he arrived, he asked his wife to serve the table. She was suspicious and saw that he had nothing to eat, their reason was questioning it. He insisted that set the table and she obeyed. The children are excited and wondered what he would eat were asked to sit at the table and gave thanks for food, "Lord, thank you for what you eat, because you said no There is none righteous forsaken nor his seed begging bread. "At that point, knocked on the door and a man said:" You do not know me but the Lord told me to come and give him the bags of food bought at the supermarket. They were for me, but now I give. "God will not shame those who believe, until the last minute of his life because he always arrives on time.
Many people claim results from your faith, even God needs your belief, conviction and security in Him and His promises. Sometimes the reason tells you that you will die from the disease that ails you, but faith says that by His wounds you were healed. You'll see results of your faith when you accept to live according to the Bible and prove that you want to be witness of His works.
Jesus Christ is the author and finisher of our faith, who multiplied the loaves, healed the sick and raised the dead. He is one of the boat, who died on the cross and rose from the dead. He knocks on your door and His Kingdom enter your home if you open. That's faith, believe that exists, that is with you and you can erase your sins. Ask them to write your name in the book of life and grow your faith to see the results all around you. Tell him you want to believe in Him and you are not satisfied with what you have and you know there's more to you. Decide to become a believer to seek results of their faith.
