There was once a pair of brothers, who were born and grew up together, with the same education, the same resources, the same responsibilities.

Ceased to be children and began work, both worked in the field, one was a farmer and another farmer. Both worked long and hard at one point tried to revise as were their savings. They went to the bank window and asked for a statement. Although they worked hard, one of them was rich and the other not. Why?

One worked with joy, spent all his effort into work and saved the best part in the bank, while the other as an obligation to, and kept only what was left, that was the difference.

Let other men, both were in the same business, rubbed shoulders as they worked, and knew at some point in their lives came, like the two previous siblings, at the bank window, called a statement. One of them had great wealth saved, the other was the poorest of the man. Why? The latter did not want to save ever, the other had a good saving, and also had made a strong deposit.

Perhaps you wonder who were these people, or maybe brothers think I'm making. Not so. The former are household names, Cain and Abel, who worked in the field, Cain and Abel was cattle farmer, Abel unlike his brother was the best part of his work to God, strove for the best out of The Lord , and stayed with the others, he knew what God gave was credited to your account, Cain not, it was not served him well, and therefore had a very poor savings.

The other two are the two thieves crucified with the Lord, both were thieves and murderers perhaps, everyone knew the gait of his companion, but one had humility in his heart, could tell he was suffering a punishment for his sin The other was selfish and what interested him was saved. One made a large deposit in the bank to humble themselves before the Lord, the other closed his account by making fun of him

In both cases we think that only one of each had sufficient funds in your bank account to be accepted, the other two were too poor to enter. Poor in spirit, humility, faith, love and work.

That's why brothers that today we must consider ourselves as this perhaps be too fat, full of savings, perhaps this half full, with a good amount or it may be that this half-empty, with insufficient resources.

We may be savings to our heavenly account, we need surely save in humility, in faith and love. Many people consider themselves humble, have some faith, some have love. Perhaps we pray a lot, that's good, increase our faith and strengthens the spirit. Others consider others better than ourselves, as recommended by the apostle Paul, that's very good, God, the owner of the bank, you do not like people who are superb, but loves the humble. We all love ... Right? think of this brother, not to speak pretty words, flattering, but to make us reflect on our roads the word that God gives us today.

If we be humble enough, but we think or say things like no, I'm not going to do that, as they think they'll put me wash the dishes, as do the toilet, what do the sisters, then perhaps we save lacking in humility.

You may say, I have faith, but in any problem thunder fingers and I do not know what I do to solve it, then surely I need to save on faith.

We love, true, but remember that love is real, without pretense (Romans 12:9), for all, the Lord loves the sinner, but not to sin, and commands us to love our neighbors, friend or not. If things go wrong our thinking as upsets me that brother, better not go, because it will be such a person, then we are not loving as God commands us, and we need much so that our account is in surplus.

The work, sources of wealth. Everyone knows that even in material wealth is important to work. Have you ever wondered why the countries of the north are mostly richer than the south?, Reason is simple, people in the north has fewer natural resources, so it must work harder, and it is labor that generates wealth on earth and in heaven. The Lord's work, which has committed to us, is our job. How long are devoting? Remember, the Lord tells us: 2nd Thessalonians 3:10 who does not work, let him not eat. And if the Lord works (John 5:17) Why did not we do?

I invite you brother, to meditate on these words. We can easily deceive other persons, including, we can delude ourselves, but we can not deceive God. Let's be realistic and humble, and make a sincere and objective assessment of our savings in the sky.
