 Remember our brothers when we were looking first secular work? Which is what came to mind? What fears haunt our hearts? That the last grade of studies, identification, proof of address and much needed letters of recommendation.
Joining this with the fear of being accepted or not a heavy burden on our mind and heart. Recalling these "letters of recommendation" that were so necessary to achieve that position, it seemed they had more value than our people, the more important was the signatory, the more likely it was to have that job. Those letters were like the testimony of a Christian, spoke in brief about your behavior, honesty, commitment, and so on. And the agreement was a real struggle. That made me remember a few days ago I read a few verses, which I showed that in the spiritual life such letters of recommendation are also required, if not for the person we employ, (Our Lord Jesus Christ) but for the people "around him .
Mark 9:38-41 - "John answered and said, Master, we saw someone in your name cast out demons, but he does not follow us, and we forbad him, because they followed us. 39 But Jesus said: No forbid him, for no one who works a miracle in my name can soon afterward speak evil of me. 40 For he that is not against us is for us. 41 And whosoever shall give you a glass of water in my name, because you Christ, verily I say you will not lose his reward. "
These verses speak of an apostle, John "the beloved disciple" which comes before the Lord by making some assumptions. "We have seen" one "in your name." These words reminded me departe intolerance of the apostles, also recalling the passage of children (boys rebuked who dared to approach the Lord).
These words make me think of John the apostles believed that better men than others perhaps thinking or believing "masters of the absolute truth"
Knowing that belonged to Jesus' inner circle believed to possess a knowledge of men, according to the same apostle says, not "the following" is not shared "penalties, sacrifices" of the apostolate. She had left home, family, belongings as they had not heard that Jesus made a formal call this person.
Then this man who dared to use the name of God if for them (the apostles) was a trademark that belonged only to them.
You guys have heard anything like brothers in this time?
This man apparently had great faith, as evidenced by the fact that "casting out demons" thing that the demons in his time doubted.
What caused them to be so "jealous" in the work of God. Perhaps it would be the need to prove to the worldly man, try to put the same faith? Or know the man was not a sufficient argument to discredit their work. This man was casting out devils in the Name of Jesus, they contended for the use of that power. How many times wanting to start a ministry, personal ministry brothers have not encountered this kind of brothers?
Who called you? Why do you want to do this? What credentials attest to your call? Who supports you? What is your name? Many men of God believe that there are many people who abuse the Word of God, and unfortunately it's true. But then again many doubters and you prove that God calls you to the service. They become "spiritual tax" requiring follow the steps they walked before, not the footsteps of God.
If you want to begin serving as John asked "Do you have a full workshop?" As if this were a certificate of anointing of God. I'm not against the pastoral preparation, but I'm not in favor of being like John "if he is not with us is not us" only if you assure me that the end of the seminar the Spirit of God descends we would be like John. God is more than a seminar.
"But we still" "An apostolic rebuke" is not of our denomination.
Apparently it is more important to belong to that denomination whether you are blessing your brothers.
I imagine the reaction of Paul in these times that in 2000 years we still remember our manners 1st Cor. 1:12 "... I am of Paul, and I of Apollos, and I of Cephas, and I of Christ" In other words, I'm Pentecostal, I am Baptist, I'm Methodist, I'm assemblies.
We've all heard to say "that teacher is a Christian" that "mechanic is a Christian" that would be good to put it another way: "that Christian is a teacher" that is mechanical CRISTIANO "
Above all, we Christians are followers of a living God.
If we continue with our flesh will be futile discussions yet. 1 Cor. 3:4 "For while one saith, I am of Paul, and another, I am of Apollos, are ye not carnal?
Why am saying assemblies, I am Baptist, are you not carnal?
Why not? I am of Christ.
We have become braces, brothers or stumbling? If they are not within our denomination, would not belong to Christ, and if they have not God seminar call them? "We forbid others to fulfill the great commission?
We own the truth? Does God call us to prove the brothers?
Do we have more knowledge than Christ?
We tested if God was "step" see into the heart of the brother who begins to preach, we doubt the Holy Spirit as we believe that someone will preach against the establishment. We proved we doubt that God make things right.
In a mute in which to be an evangelist, or pastor's no good, where are apostles, prophets, teachers, doctors, just around the corner it's time we return to our "first love" CHRIST AND THE HUMBLE.
But Jesus said, "Do not forbid him, for no one who works a miracle in my name can soon afterward speak evil of me" V. 39
Let ministries brothers try, try pastors, evangelists test, test names. Christ will not allow those working on their behalf then talk badly.
Brothers we are of Christ does not belong to men, dogmas, denominations, denominations, churches do not save is Christ's salvation.
In this church it is time to rethink many things about us, whom we belong, we are a burden or a help to others, receive or tested, or are we blessing burden to others, we must continue or make a pit stop.
Brothers our love is Christ our hope, our faith, our comfort, our salvation. SOMOS DE CRISTO.
